Monarch's Wing in Macro

No, this is not this year, yet. I hope the Monarchs do return this year, they did not make an appearance to my yard last summer, for some reason unknown to me. This is a macro shot of the wing detail of a Monarch Butterfly. This is not a cropped photo. I followed the life cycle of the Monarch Butterfly, and this one was ready to fly.
