Perfect In Every Way

I’ve been watching the single Monarch butterfly chrysalis as it matured and emerged today. It took about three weeks. That’s the beauty of having a butterfly garden in the yard. There are two more that we can’t find, but we will keep watching. This is the first time in two years, when we raised over 30, that we have watched a single Monarch emerge. I wish it well. It has a long road to hoe to get to it’s winter home.

This was taken as it moved against the sun. I thought this shot made the wings look like stained glass.
